On March 9, 1993, Dorothy Decker Nelson Harmer passed away, at the age of 85.

She was born March 6, 1908 in Ogden, Utah. She was the daughter of Le Ray Decker and Amelia Stevens. She married Joseph Call Nelson in the Salt Lake Temple, August 24, 1928. He preceded her in death in 1952. She married Willis Harmer in 1974, who also preceded her in death, 1985.She is survived by four children, Rae Mildenhall, Provo; Krista Froelich, Murray; Joe Nelson, Ohio; and Steve Nelson, California and four step-children, Naomi Clegg, Bernice Woffinden, Maxine Harwood, Elaine Harmer. She is the head of a large posterity of children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She lived a busy and active life. She taught 1st grade for 19 years. She served faithfully in her church. She has had teaching positions in all of the organizations, worked on several stake boards, served as Relief Society president and many years as Stake Mutual president. He had great love for her family and friends.

Death to her held no fear, knowing that death is another step of her eternal progression.

Her family and friends will be celebrating her glorious life, Saturday, March 13, 1993 at 2 p.m. in the Pleasant View 2nd Ward Chapel, 650 Stadium Avenue, Provo. Friends and family may call at Berg Mortuary Provo, 185 E. Center Street, Friday evening 6-8 p.m. or Saturday at the church one hour prior to service.

Interment: Provo City Cemetery.
