Almeda Allred McKenna, age 82, of Salt Lake City, formerly of Roosevelt, died March 1, 1993 at a Salt Lake City hospital.

She was born January 11, 1911 in Pima, Graham County, Arizona to William David and Sarah Elizabeth Burns. Allred. She married Gilbert Francis McKenna October 29, 1929 in Vernal, Utah. The marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple August 14, 1944. He died January 29, 1989.She is survived by children, Mrs. Deloy (Joyce) Duncan, Neola; Mrs. Aral (Elaine) Allred, Hyde Park; Mrs. Charles (LaJean) Smith, Salt Lake; Thomas Warren McKenna, Sandy; 24 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; brother, David Allred, Tucson, Ariz.; sisters, Wilma Hall, Neola; Carma Dean, Roosevelt. She was preceded in death by a son, Earl and sisters, Fannie Felter and Sarah Allred.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 15, 1993, at the Roosevelt 4th LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Hullinger-Olpin Mortuary, Sunday, 6-8 p.m. and Monday, 10-10:45 a.m. Burial in the LaPoint Cemetery.
