Arthur Phillip Morfin, age 49, passed away March 11, 1993 in Salt Lake City.
Born July 13, 1943 in Salt Lake City, Utah, son of Joe Octobiano and Louise Gallegos Archuleta Morfin. Married Esther Mary Gonzales January 14, 1966 in Salt Lake City.Survived by wife, Esther, West Valley City; daughter, Mrs. Troy (Tammy) Richards; five sons, Phillips J. and wife Eileen; Andrew; Chon A.; Isaac W.; Jacob A., all of West Valley City; four grandchildren; parents, Jose and Louise Archuleta. Murray; two sisters, JoAnn Collett and Joyce Monson; 11 brothers, John and Lester Martinez; David and Lonnie Morfin; Edward, Lee, Chris, Billy, Vincent, Victor, and Lalo Archuleta.
Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, 10 a.m., at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2840 South 9000 West. Friends may call Sunday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. and Monday, at the church, one hour prior to services. Committal, Valley View Memorial Park.
