Virginia Peterson Anderson, 82, died March 12, 1993 at her home.
Born June 2, 1910 in Sterling to Charles and Maria Whitlock Peterson. Married John Lindon Anderson in Sterling, Utah January 22, 1931; later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.Worked as an inspector for Carlisle Manufacturing Company for 20 years. Active member in all church activities. Noted for her beautiful quilts.
Survived by husband; five sons and three daughters, Robert L., Bonnie Smith, Judy Barrett, Clair L., all of Salt Lake City; Phylis V. Smith, Tooele; Buddy J., Erda, Utah; Eugene, Springville; Charles Benny, Sterling; 25 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lucien Peterson of Sterling, Utah and Monte Peterson of Nephi, Utah. Preceded in death by one daughter, Arlene; one granddaughter, Robin Dawn Barrett; four sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 15 at 12 noon in the Sterling LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may call two hours prior to services. Interment in the Sterling City Cemetery under the direction of Buchanan Mortuary.
