Robert Joseph McCoy, 18, died Saturday, March 13, 1993 in Roy.
He was born Nov. 19, 1974 in Murray, a son of Ronald D. and Ida Marie Contreras McCoy. He was a lifelong resident of the Ogden area and was a student at Canyon View High School. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. He loved sports, camping and animals.Surviving are his parents of Ogden; his father, Rigo Vasquez of Sandy; one brother and one sister, Matthew R. McCoy, and Stephanie M. McCoy, both of Ogden. Also survived by his grandparents, Narcisco and Lupe Vasquez, Sandy; John and Gloria Garcia, St. George; Rod and Patricia Leavitt, Washington Terrace; Paul and Lydia Contreras, Magna; Daryl and JoAnn McCoy, Sacramento, Calif. his great-grandmother, Mrs. Bisintita Gallegos of Ogden.
Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, at 10 a.m., at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 514 - 24th Street. Friends may call at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Tuesday, from 6 to 8 p.m. where Holy Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. where Holy Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
Interment will take place at Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park.
