With all the sexual crimes and tragedies we have to contend with, the last thing women, children, law enforcement officers and other citizens of our communities need is the billboard by Reagan Advertising proclaiming in bold, six-foot high, Day-Glo letters "Expose Yourself."
Though Reagan may defend a different meaning, tragic events of this day and age do not warrant the much more obvious understanding and "application" of the phrase. Such encouragement to one so tempted can only lead to further grief for all concerned.If Reagan's intent is to attract outdoor advertising sales, selling the advantages of using that medium is the more appropriate and responsible, and certainly more effective, message.
