Marjorie Moon Whitesides, 77, died Monday, March 22, 1993, of complications following surgery.

Marjorie was born May 9, 1915 in Farmington, Utah, a daughter of Albert and Estelle Potter Moon. She married Dent A. Whitesides, May 14, 1937 in the Salt Lake Temple. She lived in Farmington until 1946, when she and family moved to Layton, where she had lived since. She had been active in church having served in many capacities.She is survived by her husband and three children, five grandchildren, and one great grandchild, W. Vaun Whitesides (Teddy), son, Jason; daughters, Maranee and Camren, Dale City, Virginia; Sharon Cottle (Ted), son, Ryan, daughter, Carolee Taggart (Nate), and baby, Spencer, Layton and Syracuse; Craig Whitesides (Linda), Layton; one brother Wallace L. Moon (Darlene), Bountiful. She was preceded in death by a son, Val D. Whitesides and her father and mother, and a granddaughter Charlynn Cottle.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 25, 1993, at 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1074 No. Fairfield Rd. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services Thursday. Interment Farmington City Cemetery.
