Children at Ensign Elementary School shed their coats, along with the winter doldrums, as they spring into warm-weather activities. Tuesday's sunny skies sent spirits soaring, along with temperatures, in the Salt Lake area. Highs were expected to reach into the 60s and low 70s, with lows in the 30s and 40s. More sunshine and balmy weather, with similar highs, were forecast for Wednesday. Clouds are expected to blow in on Thursday, though, along with a chance of rain showers or thunderstorms. Gray skies are expected to linger into the weekend.
