Two anti-piracy computer software groups associated with Utah-based Novell and WordPerfect announced Wednesday they are suing a Colombian government agency for illegal use and copying of programs.
The Business Software Alliance and Colombia's National Association of Software Industry said they will file a lawsuit against the Banco Central Hipotecario of Colombia. The bank is one of the country's largest government institutions involved in the construction industry.This is the first lawsuit filed against a corporation for software piracy in Colombia.
