Delila at 94, died in her sleep May 5, 1993.

She was born June 10, 1898 in Chernyakov, Russia, second child of Adam Modzeng and August Schulz. She accepted message of LDS missionaries in Prussia and emigrated first to Canada and then to the USA in response to her religious beliefs. She married Alvin Frederick Soderquist December 6, 1932 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple and started their eternal family. She will be remembered for her desire to share her religious beliefs for her love of children her talents in sewing and her beautiful vegetable gardens.She is survived by five sons and their spouses, LeRoy and Lapriel of Cottonwood; Leon and Margareta, Dean and Cheryl of Bluffdale; Kirt and Marilyn of Kanab; Kent and Jean of West Valley; 29 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services Saturday, May 8, at MacKay Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 So. Highland Drive, at 1:30 p.m. A viewing will take place at 12 noon. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
