A man with a bandanna over his face robbed a Sugar House Shopko store Wednesday with a sawed-off shotgun.

The man entered the department store, 2290 S. 1300 East, about 2:30 p.m. and approached one of the cashiers. He pulled the gun from underneath a duster-type coat and demanded money, Salt Lake police reported. He put the money into a black bag and ran out the store. Store security saw a vehicle leave the parking lot that was later found in Park City, but later determined neither the car nor the driver had been involved in the robbery.

The suspect is about 18 years old. He wore a baseball cap and one side of his head was shaved.
