Davis Hospital and Medical Center will host its first Women's Conference on Saturday, May 8.

Scheduled to run from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m., the event will be at Northridge High, 2416 N. 400 West.Carole Mikita, a KSL-TV news anchor, will be the keynote speaker. Other speakers include JoAnn Larsen, a Deseret News columnist and family/marriage therapist, and JoAnn Jacobsen-Wells, Salt Lake Tribune columnist.

There will be a continental breakfast and eight workshops available to conference participants. More than 500 women have registered for the event so far.
