"Unless you . . . hear all the evidence, you are not in a position to really know." . . . Often actions of bishops and stake presidents and others are misread by people who are not in a position to know the full truth.
"Neither the bishop nor the member he is judging is obliged to confide in us. The bishop must keep confidences.
"When all is said and done, in most cases, it is clearly none of our business anyway."
