Jerry Petro "Dodge", 26, died Saturday, May 29, 1993 in Durango, Colorado from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born October 30, 1966 in Ogden, the son of Donald B. and Virginia Lewis Petro. Jerry was a construction worker acting as foreman for the Erectors West Const. Co. at the time of his death. Jerry graduated from Viewmont High School in 1984. He enjoyed the outdoors including hunting, fishing, golfing and both water and snow skiing.He is survived by his parents, Mrs. James (Virginia) Dodge of Bountiful and Don Petro of Layton; a brother and a sister, Andy Dodge and Melinda Petro. Also surviving are are two stepsisters, Traci Olsen and Lesli Dodge.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11 a.m., at the Lindquist Layton Mortuary, 1074 No. Fairfield Rd. Friends may call at the mortuary Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45. Interment will be in the Lindquist Memorial Park at Layton.
