Lea Babcock Burrows, age 64, passed away Wednesday, June 9, 1993 at LDS Hospital. She died peacefully in the presence of her family following complications from surgery.
Born May 28, 1929 in LaPoint, Utah, the daughter of John Reed and Eva Fern Rasmussen Babcock. Married W. Verneal Burrows October 8, 1950 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple May 28, 1963. A faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, whose influence was felt by all who knew her. Her faith was the key to her life. She delighted in the service of her friends and family. She exemplified the most caring and loving mother, who was always there for her family. She lived each day to the fullest. And to her, we owe everything. We love you, Mom.Survivors include her husband, Verneal, Bountiful; children, Steven Neal Burrows, Minneapolis, Minn.; David Reed Burrows, Cucumunga, Calif.; Karen Burrows Sturzenegger, Farmington, Utah; Tina Burrows Cook, Bountiful, Utah; 10 grandchildren; brothers and sisters, V. Reed Babcock, West Valley; Rula Dixon, Salt Lake City; Eva Ray Meyers, Bountiful; Bob Allsop, Salt Lake City; Claude Allsop, Salt Lake City; Flora Case, North Salt Lake; Louis Allsop, St. George.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 12, 1993 at 11 a.m. in the Orchard Stake Center, 3599 South Orchard Drive, Bountiful. Friends may call at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m., and Saturday at the church, from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services.
