Chad and Andy Baker were supposed to spend the day at an amusement park. Instead, the teenaged twins hopped a cab and went to court, hoping to get their side heard in their parents' custody battle.
The 14-year-old boys filed a homemade motion to intervene in the 10-year-old case with Davidson County Circuit Judge Walter Kurtz. The boys say they want to have their custody changed from their mother, Sondra Abroms, to their father, Gary Baker, mainly because they want to spend more time with their 4-year-old half-sister.
But they say their court-appointed guardian and court-appointed psychologist won't listen to them.
