Granite School District and Salt Lake County fire officials believe a fire Wednesday at Arcadia Elementary School, 3461 W. 4850 South, was likely started by juveniles in the area.

Shrubs on the south side of the building caught fire about 6 p.m. and had blackened the school wall by the time Salt Lake County fire crews arrived. The firefighters had the blaze doused in minutes, said Tim Maddox, a security officer with Granite School District.Maddox said the fire caused limited structural damage.
