Wayne Swan has joined the Utah County office of Van Cott, Bagley, Cornwall & McCarthy. A shareholder, he specializes in business and securities law and has been with the firm 10 years. Curtis Allen of Folio Corp., Ladd Christensen of Whitehall Corp. and Ronald Cope of National Semiconductor Corp. have been elected to the board of trustees of the Utah Information Technologies Association, a statewide nonprofit trade association. Glenn Anderson has been named an associate principal at Smith, Layton, Anderson Architects, Planners and Interiors, which recently changed its name to reflect the addition. Anderson, an architect, has worked on commercial and residential projects during his 15 year career. Mitchell Hurley was appointed manager of the South Valley Business Financial Center of First Security Bank in Murray. A vice president, he was formerly a commercial loan officer. Mike Jones has joined AdCrafter Communications as print production coordinator. He is a graduate of Brigham Young University's advertising program. Michael Scott was hired by Gillham Advertising as account executive and business development manager. He has worked in advertising 20 years and earned a bachelor's degree in advertising at the University of California at Santa Barbara. Angela Flandro has joined Gillham Advertising as an account coordinator. She is attending the University of Utah. Katie Muna was hired by Gillham Advertising as a production assistant. She earned a bachelor degree in communication from Weber State University in 1992. Nancy Lundgren has joined Salt Lake Mortgage as its appraisal manager. She was formerly employed by Prescott Muir Architects.
