Antelope Island State Park is set to reopen soon, and the Utah Division of Parks and Recreation is ushering in the occasion with an open house to introduce the new park to the public and gather input on how it should operate after nearly a decade of being closed.
The June 23 public meeting will offer booths and displays explaining some of the renovations to the park. Boat tours, para-sailing, and an 80-site camping area will also be available at the park following its grand opening this September. The park will open limited facilities July 1.
