A collision in Salt Lake City on Tuesday resulted in one death and possible injuries to an unborn baby.
Lana Wise, 46, was killed when her car collided with a pickup truck as she attempted to turn left onto North Temple from 700 West. She was the only person in the car and carried an Oregon identification.The westbound truck on North Temple was driven by Gary North with passenger Jody North, who is five months pregnant. Gary North was treated and released. Jody North is in good condition, and her unborn baby is OK, a hospital spokesman said Wednesday morning.
