An artist's drawing depicts the NASA space station design that President Clinton is pushing before Congress. Opponents have promised to kill the space station when it comes up for a key House vote next week. But NASA officials maintain the redesign still would be $8 billion cheaper than building Space Station Freedom. Clinton will ask Congress to appropriate $2.1 billion for the station next fiscal year.
