A memorial statue to honor firefighters who died on the job is unveiled Saturday in Alton, Ill. The bronze likeness of a firefighter, sculpted by Denver firefighter Joe Cipri, stands in front of the city's Don Twichell Fire Station. Four Alton firefighters have died on the job, including two in an arson fire in October 1992.
