The Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company will offer its annual summer workshop, "MOVE-IT '93," July 5-23 at the Marriott Center for Dance, University of Utah, with a newly added one-week workshop for educators at Snowbird ski and summer resort July 26-31.

Several work-study scholarships are available to advanced dancers. Send applications for assistance with resume, photo and two letters of recommendation to Ririe-Woodbury by July 1. For information, call 328-1062."MOVE-IT '93" will give dancers intensive training at all levels of technique, improvisation, composition, teaching methods, percussion accompaniment for dance and performance opportunities. The workshop is designed for professional and student dancers, choreographers, teachers and interested community members.

Workshop faculty will include internationally renowned teacher, performer and choreographer Douglas Nielsen; Jon Scoville, U. of U. adjunct professor and artistic director of Tandy Beal and Company; Steven Fletcher, U. of U. musician; and Ririe-Woodbury members.

Three-day miniworkshops will be available to young dancers of high school age at a cost of $80.

The teachers' workshop, geared toward creative teaching skills and improvisation for primary and secondary teachers, is sponsored by Snowbird. Four in-service credit hours are available or three hours' credit through the U. of U. Division of Continuing Education. Total fee for the three week workshop is $400, plus an additional $50 for five hours' credit through the U. of U. The teachers' workshop fee is $150. A non-refundable deposit of $50 is due for all workshops no later than July 1.
