"R.J." Raymond John Rey, Jr., our hero, age 12, died June 17, 1993 at the Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City.

He was born February 27, 1981 in Nyack, New York, a son of Raymond John and Diane Marie LaMarche Rey, Sr. He was preceded in death by his father."R.J." was a member of the LDS Church and held the office of deacon. He was an artist, was kind, always had a project going, and was very mechanically minded. He was creative with everything he did; he also was a comedian and did impersonations. He enjoyed people and taught them a lot about life. He never complained about pain and lived life to the fullest. We love him and he will always be with us.

He is survived by his mother of Provo; two sisters, Monique Rey and Jodie LaMarche, both of Provo; grandparents, Leo and Rose LaMarche, Quebec, Canada; aunt, Darlene LaMarche, Provo, uncle and aunt, Ron and Juanita DeCuffa, Bronks, New York; uncle and aunt, John and Sandy Rey; cousins, Tiffney and Lindsey Rey, Upstate, New York; uncle and aunt, Lou and Doris Alonson; cousin, Marlo Alonson, Ventura, California.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 21, 1993, 12 noon at the Provo 5th Ward Chapel, 502 East 200 North. Friends may call at the Berg Mortuary Provo, 185 East Center Street, on Sunday evening, 6-8 p.m. and Monday at the church one hour prior to services. Interment, Provo City Cemetery.
