The Utah Small Business Development Center is planning two series of seminars on business financing and marketing that will be held at the center office, 102 W. 500 South. The cost for each session is $20, and more information can be obtained by calling 581-7905.
The financial management series will be held at 6-9 p.m. on July 6 and 20, and August 3, 17 and 31 and feature information on strong management accounting systems to guide and control the business, setting budget guidelines, effectively managing cash flow and monitoring a business' strength.The marketing series will be held at 6-9 p.m. on July 13 and 27 and Aug. 10 and 24 and Sept. 7 and contain information on increased sales through target marketing, market research for small business, reaching the customer, building business through customer service and maximizing sales through advertising and promotion.
