Concert: Free concert in the park with Marcia Knorr and The Showstoppers, sponsored by the Layton Arts Council. Those attending should bring their own lawn chairs or blankets.

Where: Layton Commons Park, 400 N. Wasatch Drive, near the Heritage Museum.

Award: Salt Lake businessman Grant Mack, an advocate for people with disabilities, was presented the president's Distinguished Service Award during a private ceremony before about 50 of Mack's closest friends and relatives Sunday. Mack is gravely ill with cancer. (See Page B2.)
