As a "thank you" to its many supporters, the University of Utah's Child Abuse Program will present two free performances of "Trust," a drama that teaches children how to recognize and respond to sexual abuse.
Parents are invited to bring their children to either of the two performances tonight (Thursday) and Friday, June 3-4, at 7:30 p.m. in the Babcock Theatre, located downstairs in the Pioneer Memorial Theatre complex, 300 South and University St. (1340 East).Seating is limited. Tickets are requested for admission. They're available for free from the PMT box office or by calling 581-6961.
A reception will follow the Friday evening performance.
- AUDITIONS are also scheduled this weekend for actors for future performances of "Trust." Paid positions are available for six women and six men, 18 to 35 years of age. Actors must commit to a minimum of two full mornings per week from October 1993 through May 1994. Auditions will be held Saturday, June 5, from 9 a.m. until noon in Room 130 of the West Institute Building on the southwest corner of 300 South and University. Be prepared to do cold readings, improvisation and movement and present a one-minute prepared monologue or children's story. Also plan to stay the full time.
