Beatrice May Waltz, 82, died June 4, 1993 at the Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful.
Beatrice was born May 31, 1911 in Ogden, Utah. She is the daughter of Ben F. and Mary Selina Carr Garner. On July 12, 1932 she married Clemence B. Waltz in San Francisco, California. The marriage was solemnized in the Oakland LDS Temple in 1966. Beatrice attended Ogden City schools and graduated from Ogden High School in 1928. Beatrice served as a visiting teacher and as an instructor in the Relief Society. She also served on the Relief Society Stake Board for over 19 years in Sacramento, California. Her hobbies included ceramics, being a great wife, mother, grandmother,homemaker, neighbor and friend.Surviving are her husband of Bountiful; two sons, Brent, of Sacramento, California; Bruce and his wife, Linda, and four grandchildren of Fruit Heights, Utah. Also surviving is one brother and two sisters, Keith E. Garnor of Salt Lake City; LaVon Pollei of Menlo Park, California; Ruth Kimball of Bountiful, Utah. She was preceded in death by a son, Donald, two brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 7, 1993 at the Salt Lake Memorial Mausoleum, 1001 11th Avenue, Salt Lake City. Entombment, Salt Lake Memorial Mausoleum.
