James Daniel Moriarty, age 75, passed away June 4, 1993 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born June 15, 1917 in Salt Lake City, the son of John Henry and Louise Myra Andersen Moriarty. James was a veteran of World War II. He worked for and retired from Kennecott Copper Corporation. He loved sports!Survived by four brothers and one sister: Jack Moriarty, of Twin Falls, Idaho; Bill, Michael, and Dennis Moriarty; and Helen Forsythe, all of Salt Lake City; also by numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by two brothers, George and Chick, and by a sister, Jeanne Griffin.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, June 9, 11 a.m., at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 3560 West 3650 South. Friends and family may call at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 10600 South 1700 East, Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m., with a Vigil Service at 7 p.m. Friends may also call at the church on Wednesday, one-half hour prior to services. Mass offered by Father Robert Moriarty, a nephew of James.
Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
