A teenager was stabbed after a group of people confronted him at an intersection about his driving, and the incident escalated into a melee, police say.

According to police reports, witnesses said the teenager was driving a pickup truck recklessly and fast when the fight began Sunday night.The teenager had numerous injuries, police said. He was treated at McKay-Dee Hospital and released.

Officers later stopped two men in a pickup truck and said they found a bloodstained knife concealed in the waistband of one of the men's pants.

Both men, ages 21 and 22, were booked into the Weber County Jail on suspicion of third-degree felony riot.

The wounded boy and another teenager also were arrested on suspicion of riot. They were released to the custody of family members pending prosecution in juvenile court.
