SHARE FASHION CORNER PRESIDENT NAMED TO SCHOOL BOARD

Dean Knight, founder and president of Fashion Corner in Midvale, has been named to the Granite Board of Education to complete the term being vacated by Denis R. Morrill.

Morrill resigned recently to accept an assignment as mission president for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Guatemala. He officially left the board June 30.Knight will represent Precinct 3, which covers the Tay-lors-ville/-Bennion area. His appointment will run through 1994, when an election is required by law to fill the remainder of Morrill's term, which was to end in 1996.

The new board member graduated from Granger High School in 1959 and attended Southern Utah University and Brigham Young University. He and his wife, Sherry, have been active in community affairs, including school leadership as PTA members and officers. He served at one time as president of the Taylorsville Booster Club.

They have nine children who have attended Granite District schools.
