The Aetna Life & Casualty Co., Hartford, Conn., has purchased a worldwide site license for Folio VIEWS 3.0 for Windows, the new personal computer-based electronic publishing software from Provo-based Folio Corp. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The agreement gives Aetna the opportunity to provide the new software for its employees worldwide. "Folio VIEWS already has revolutionized the way we provide information to our internal clients," said Bob Shannon, vice president of Aetna Information Technology.He said VIEWS has allowed the company to eliminate its paper manuals for 10,000 employees. "Our initial investment in Folio VIEWS paid for itself in less than 12 months, and we expect an even faster return with Folio VIEWS 3.0.," he said.
