Kerie passed on to Heavenly Father on July 12, 1993 after a valiant fight with cancer.

Born May 8, 1961 to Wesley G. and Nola Christensen Waters. Kerie is survived by three sisters and one brother.Kerie's education included a BS Degree from Brigham Young University in both Sports Medicine and Secondary Ed. with a Math minor as well as a Masters Degree in Sports Medicine at Old Dominion University. She later earned her Physical Therapy Degree at the University of Utah. Kerie was working for Intermountain Health Care at the Nevada Pain Center in Las Vegas, Nevada as a physical therapist at the time the cancer appeared.

Kerie loved her job and the people associated with it. She was dedicated to her family, her church and to her Heavenly Father, serving whereever she was called.

Services will be held at the LDS Chapel at 5th So. 6th W., Orem, Utah, July 16, 1993 at 11 a.m. The family will greet friends at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary 495 So. State, Orem July 15, 6-8 p.m., and also Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the ward chapel. Interment in the Orem City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to "BYU" for the KERIE JEAN WATERS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP, (LDS Foundation, 1501 No. Canyon Road, Provo, UT 84604).

A special thanks to our many friends and to the staff and administration of the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center for their kind and caring service in Kerie's behalf.
