Rhoda Clarissa Wall Crowther, 99, died July 11, 1993 in Richfield, Utah.
She was born February 24, 1894 in Ephraim, Utah, a daughter of Williams and Jensine Mortenson Wall. She married Alma Christian Crowther September 25, 1909 in Richfield, Utah. Later solemnized in the Manti Temple July 12, 1958. She was a member of the LDS Church. Was a visiting teacher until age 93. She was past president of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She loved cooking, crocheting, sewing and made many beautiful quilts and afghans. She enjoyed her family and loved them very much.Survivors: Mrs. Armilda Anderson, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Berneas Sorenson, Centerfield; Mrs. Vivian Jacobsen, Gunnison; Mrs. Mace (Leola) Hansen, Roosevelt, Arizona; Mrs. Norman (Viva) Memmott, Aurora; Mrs. Bob (Geraldine) Ence, Koosharem; Mrs. Ronald (Geneva) Knott, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Boyd (LaVona) Duffin, Las Vegas, Nevada; 42 grandchildren; 137 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by sister, Gladys Thomson, brothers, Raymond, Lynn, Webber; children, Lloyd Crowther, Hortense Kennedy, Clifford and Clifton, Maurine Crowther, LaVern Crowther.
Funeral services will be Thursday, July 15, 12 noon in the Aurora First Ward. Friends may call at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Salina Wednesday evening, 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday at the Aurora Ward Chapel, 10:30 to 11:30 prior to services. Burial in the Aurora Cemetery under direction of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Salina and Richfield.
