David Ervin Clark, 83, died Saturday, July 10, 1993 at his home in Upton, Utah.
He was born June 19, 1910 in Coalville, Utah, a son of Walter and Mary Ellen Banner Clark. On May 31, 1933, he married Verneice Barnes in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died December 4, 1992. He graduated from North Summit High School. He was an active member of the Upton LDS Ward and had served as president of Sunday School, ward clerk, secretary, YMMIA and High Priest Group leader.He owned and operated a ranch in Upton. He was a member and president of North Summit Wildlife Assoc., president of Cattlemen's Assoc., chairman of Summit Co. Soil Conservation, director of A.S.C., and president of Range Owners Assoc. for 15 years. He reared and educated several foster boys.
Surviving is one sister, Mrs. Mabel Jones, Upton; also several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, at 1 p.m., in the Upton Ward Chapel with Counselor Kevin Orgill officiating. Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary in Coalville Tuesday, from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. also at the mortuary. Interment, Upton Cemetery.
