Kevin Costner is going to Georgia to play a Vietnam veteran from the South in his next movie, "The War."

Filming begins in August.Among those chosen for the movie, set in 1971, are two Cordele, Ga., youths, 9-year-old Christopher Fennell and 17-year-old Leon Sills, who made it past a casting call and several screen tests. They will play members of a family of Mississippi bullies.

The film is to be shot at various locations, including Senoia and Beaufort, S.C.

"They will be filming a treehouse scene in Beaufort," Fennell said. "They looked in five states for a perfect tree and had people send in hundreds of pictures of trees with letters about why the tree should be in the movie."
