A New York educator will join Utah State University in mid-August as director of planning and analysis.

Jeane C. Vinsonhaler comes to USU from Binghamton University (formerly called the State University of New York at Binghamton), where she has been director of institutional research since 1989.In announcing the appointment, USU President George H. Emert said Vinsonhaler will research national and institutional data and prepare information, reports and recommendations. These will be used in strategic planning, for evaluating and developing academic programs and for forming and implementing policy.

Earlier she was assistant director of personnel administration at Michigan State University.
