Archie W. Willmore, 85, died July 1, 1993 in Bountiful, Utah of complications from surgery and due to age.

He was born September 25, 1907 in Logan, Utah to Eliza James and Frank Willmore. He married Maurine "Molly" Robison in Morgan, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the St. George Temple. Molly preceded him in death nine years ago. Retired from Utah Power & Light as credit department manager.Archie took an active interest in Evanston by participating in Chamber of Commerce, FOE Cowboy Days Committee, Voting Registration Clerk, Bear River Project and Design Committee. He has enjoyed his association with friends at the Senior Citizen Center. Archie was well-known for his beautiful flowers and garden. He judged flowers at the Uinta County Fairs and the Rich County Fairs. An avid sportsman, he loved the great outdoors, fishing, camping, hunting. He was a rock hound and also enjoyed bowling.

A High Priest in the LDS Church, he held many positions including Young Men's president and he served in a bishopric.

He will be greatly missed.

Survived by a son, Michael "Mike" Willmore, Rock Springs, Wyo.; daughter, Kay W. Muir of Bountiful; eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren; a sister, Phyllis Toliver, Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 6, 1993, at 11 a.m., at Crandall Funeral Home, on the corner of 8th and Uinta Street, Evanston, Wyo., where friends may call Monday, 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday, one hour prior to services.

Interment, Morgan, Utah Cemetery.
