Leilah Wood Glade, 71, our beloved mother, grandmother and sister, returned to her Heavenly Father July 19, 1993, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born October 6, 1921, in Woods Cross, Utah to Wilford C. and Lillian Woodbury Wood. She married Richard Larkin Glade April 14, 1944, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death November 7, 1976.Leilah was an active member of the LDS Church, having served in many positions. She loved music. She will be missed by the many Primary children who have shared her love of singing.

She always thought of others first, and was selfless in her service to them.

She is survived by her children, Sheila and her husband, Earl Price; Mary Anne and her husband, John Parker; David and his wife, Liz Glade; Richard W. Glade and Suzina Glade; 18 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her sister, Mary W. Cannon; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter.

A viewing will be held Thursday evening, July 22, from 6-8:30 p.m. at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, in Salt Lake City.

Graveside services will be held Friday, July 23, 12:30 p.m., in the Bountiful City Cemetery, 2003 South 200 West.
