SHARE DEATH: ALIDA JUSTESEN MITCHELL

On July 27, 1993, our loving mother and grandmother, Sarah Ann Alida Justesen Mitchell, left us to join her Heavenly Father, her beloved husband, mother, father, brothers, sisters and two great-grandchildren. What a wonderful reunion is taking place!

Alida was born November 22, 1901, to Charles Rulif and Annie Schofield Justesen in Spring City, Utah, where she enjoyed a happy and secure childhood. On October 28, 1925, she married Alfred Preston Mitchell, and their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. To this union came three children - Glen Armond, Betty, and Marlin A., who survive. Also surviving are son-in-law, Eldon H. Hansen; daughter-in-law, Mary G. Mitchell; sister-in-law, Rowena Lee; nine grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

Alida's life was devoted to her family, her church, and her community. She served in the auxiliaries of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lion's Club of Riverton, and the DUP Camp. Her great joy in later life was to gather her posterity around and hold the young ones on her lap.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 31, 1993, 11 a.m. in the Riverton 3rd LDS Ward Chapel, 12888 South 1700 West. The family will greet friends and neighbors Friday evening, July 30, at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Midvale, from 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment, Riverton City Cemetery.

Our sincere thanks to extended family, friends, and to the personnel at Crosslands Care Center for alleviating the loneliness and pain Alida felt during the last two years of her life.
