Some of Jeff George's teammates on the Indianapolis Colts are getting tired of hearing about the AWOL quarterback, even though he hasn't said anything.

"We don't talk about it too much," running back Anthony Johnson said. "We're trying to go forward. We'd like Jeff to be a part of it, but if he doesn't want to be a part of it, then it's probably best that he's not out here."George's fine, at $4,000 day, totaled $56,000 Wednesday as he remained out of training camp for the 14th day without explanation.

Johnson said the relationship between George and his teammates might be getting near the breaking point.

"It might be close to being too late to turn it around now," Johnson said. "If a guy is not going to be out here with us and be a part of this family, then there comes a point you have to cut it off. I have some serious doubts as to whether he can come back and be a part of our offense again."
