SHARE SEINER TO LEAD CHEVROLET NATIONAL DEALER COUNCIL

Jerry Seiner, owner of Jerry Seiner Chevrolet and other automobile dealerships, has been elected chairman of the Chevrolet National Dealer Council, succeeding George W. Whitlow, owner of Whitlow Chevrolet Corp., Richmond, Va.

The new council consists of a representative elected from each of the division's 28 sales and service zones in the United States. Council members serve on one or more of the 10 dealer/factory teams covering all aspects of the business from future car, truck products and service parts and retail and wholesale financing.A native of Dearborn, Mich., Seiner is a former newspaper advertising sales employee who moved to Utah in 1980 and purchased the assets of a dealership in Salt Lake City. He now has nine franchises in the Salt Lake area, including the Chevrolet dealership.
