Jean May Pearson Biehn of Bountiful died Thursday, July 1, 1993 in a Salt Lake City hospital of cancer.

She was born October 5, 1944 in Abilene, Texas to Gregory L. and Naomi Dalton Pearson. She attended grade schools in Logan and Salt Lake City, and graduated from Salt Lake's West High School. She then attended the University of Utah. On June 24, 1966, she was married to Carl Morton Biehn, Jr. in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, and they have lived in Bountiful for the past 20 years. Jean was active in the LDS Church and served as president of three Ward Primary organizations. She also served as president of the Val Verda 10th Ward Stake Primary, and in various positions on stake Primary boards. She was president of the Val Verda 10th Ward Relief Society before her illness. A talented teacher, she served in that capacity in both Primary and Relief Society organizations. For a number of years she served in fund-raising activities for the Primary Children's Hospital, and in P.T.A. and community affairs.

Jean was a talented, creative woman whose handwork and ceramic skills have been shared with many. Her greatest talent was love for her family, friends, neighbors and all of the people she knew.

She is survived by her husband, Carl, and her daughter, Michele, both of Bountiful; her parents of Salt Lake City; a sister and three brothers, Leslie Pearson Rees (Jerry), Bountiful; George Pearson (Linda), Salt Lake City; Melvin Pearson (Mitzi), Bountiful; Bruce Pearson (Leslie), Mesa, Arizona; many nieces and nephews also survive. Four brothers preceded her in death, Paul, James, Joseph and Floyd.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Tuesday, July 6, 1993 at the Canyon Estates Ward, 3350 South 100 East, Bountiful. Interment, Bountiful Lakeview Cemetery. Funeral directors, Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary.
