A crowd of about 1,000 braved heavy rain and spectacular lightning Saturday to help the tiny, eastern Montana farming community rename itself from Ismay to Joe in honor of NFL quarterback Joe Montana. Mayor Gene Nemitz and City Clerk Wayne Rieger presented wooden keys to the town to Larry Moffitt, Tanna Guthrie and Max Floyd, the Kansas City radio personalities who dreamed up the name change.
