"Legacy," the free LDS movie about a pioneer family, is showing today as part of the last day of an open house for the Joseph Smith Memorial Building.

The film, however, will be shown daily, except Sundays, in the 500-seat, big-screen theater after the open house ends.The movie will be shown Wednesday, July 7, 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. The movie runs again Thursday, July 8, through Saturday, July 17, except Sunday, at 10 a.m., 11:30 p.m., 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 4 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 7 p.m and 8:30 p.m.

Beginning Monday, July 19, and continuing every Monday through Saturday, the movie will be shown at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., noon, 1:30 p.m., 4 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

Tickets for the film must be picked up on the day of its showing at the newly renovated building, which was formerly the Hotel Utah; the Church Office Building; or the visitors centers on Temple Square.

Public demand for tickets Tuesday, the second day of the open house, was so heavy that tickets for eight showings were gone by mid-morning.
