Arthur Grant Drage, age 78, died peacefully at home in Salt Lake City, July 6, 1993.

Born August 23, 1914 in Holladay, Utah to Annie May Watford and Ephriam Moroni Drage. He was the seventh of nine children. Married Ella Maud Mulcock, May 23, 1935 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Happily married for 58 years. High Priest in the Grant 4th Ward.He enjoyed traveling, dancing, gardening, golfing and found great joy in his family. Grant and Ella cherished the time spent at their second home in Heber Valley. Grant will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Survived by his devoted wife, Ella, who has lovingly cared for him for the past nine years; son, Melvin (Patty) Drage, Salt Lake City, daughters; Annie (Neil) Call, Redwood City, California; andBonnie (Robert) Cooley, Salt Lake City; 13 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; sisters; Eva Taylor, Norma Danforth and Vivian Reynolds. Preceded in death by five brothers, Denzil, Clarence, Orrin, Harold and Stanley Drage and great-granddaughter, Aubrey Ann Bradshaw.

Funeral services will be held at noon Thursday, July 8, 1993 in the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 So. Highland Drive, where friends may call from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. prior to the service. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Special thanks to Salt Lake Community Nursing, who so patiently assisted with his care.
