Jack Rogers prepares to hit the dirt in the "junior rodeo" calf-riding competition at the Davis County Fair in Farmington on Thursday. The fair continues Friday with events including a city challenge in the rodeo arena as well as "Petticoat Outlaws" at 7 p.m. The rodeo begins at 8 p.m., and the fair's final event of the day will be the "The Hangin' at Simimin City" melodrama at 9 p.m. There is no admission charge for the fair. Activities are held on west State Street, adjacent to the county justice complex. See schedule on Page B3.
