Robert A. McGuire, age 44, passed away August 18, 1993, in a West Jordan hospital due to an auto accident.
Born October 2, 1948 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Alvin and Mary Park McGuire. Veteran of Vietnam in the U.S. Navy. Former employee of Kennecott Copper Corp. for 23 years. Was currently employed at Morris Air. He loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman, known for his sense of humor and willingness to always help others. Member of Rocky Mtn. Anglers Association and past president of Midvale FOE #659.He loved his children and family. Survived by his three children, Jennifer and husband, Tim Kent, Spanish Fork; Ryan McGuire, currently serving an LDS mission in Caracas, Venezuela; Kimberly McGuire, Santaquin; and their mother, Maureen Brereton; one granddaughter, Kristana; one brother, Kenneth McGuire, Draper, sister-in-law, Lyn; and special friend, Karen McGuire.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 23, 1993, 11 a.m. Draper 7th Ward, 12300 South 600 East. Friends may call at the Draper 7th Ward Sunday, 7 until 9 p.m. and Monday, 10 until 10:45 a.m. Interment, Draper City Cemetery. Funeral directors, Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary.
