Ferdinand E. Peterson, died August 16, 1993 in Tacoma, Washington.

Born October 15, 1902 in Ephraim, Utah to Jacob and Caroline Dorius Peterson.He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Isabelle Meikle Peterson. They were married June 12, 1929 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

His noble pursuits in life were loving his family, teaching, owner of Peterson's Appliance Store, missionary service to the Eastern States Mission in 1945, singing in the Tabernacle Choir (15 years), Bishop of the Yale Ward, member of The Bonneville Stake Presidency, and serving in the Utah State House of Representatives. He wrote his life history and called it "Life Is A Wonderful Journey", which was his life's theme.

Surviving are his three daughters and their husbands, Mrs. Richard (Raquel) Dyer, Tacoma, Wash.; Mrs. Clayton (Gloria) Bushnell, Thousand Oaks, Calif.; and Mrs. Allan (Sheila) Lederer, Portland, Oregon; grandchildren, Rick, Tom, Dan, Rob, Margaret and Marion; Julie, Laurie, Dale and Dave; and Marc, Allison and Corey; and 33 great-grandchildren. "We love you, Grandpa!"

Funeral services Saturday, August 21st, at 2 p.m., Yale Ward Chapel, 1431 East Gilmer Drive. Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Friday evening 7 - 8 p.m., and at the Ward, Saturday, 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. Burial, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
