Dr. Boyd Joseph Larsen, age 80 of Lehi, died at his home, August 20,
1993 of heart failure.
He was born August 15, 1913 in Magna, Utah to Edward and Clara Woodhouse Larsen. Married Roberta Ball, November 26, 1937 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Medical Doctor with family practice in Lehi for several years. Attended the University of Utah and received his Medical degree at Washington University in St. Louis. Interned at Salt County Hospital, Salt Lake City. Was Medical Director of Western Division, U.S. Steel for 30 years. Served as a Navy Doctor during World War II.Member of Alpine School Board for several years. Also had been a member of the Lehi Lions Club and J.C.'s.
Survived by his wife, Roberta, Lehi; one son and one daughter, J. Brent Larsen, Lehi; Mrs. Blaine (Marsha) Stewart, Farmington; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Guy (Clarice) Richards, American Fork; Mrs. Elbert (Gayle) Thompson, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Paul (Lois) Skrlec, Mesa, Arizona.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 23, 1993 at 11 a.m. in the Lehi Stake Center, 200 North Center Street, Lehi. Friends may call at the Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main, Lehi, Sunday from 6-8 p.m. and also, Monday 9:30 a.m. till 10:30.
Burial in the Lehi City Cemetery.
Family suggests contributions to the University of Utah School of Medicine.
